چکیده
Abstract Aims To investigate the procedural outcomes of laparoscopic-assisted endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in patients with previous Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery. Methods We performed a systematic review accordance PRISMA statement standards to identify all studies reporting ERCP RYGB. The ROBINS-I tool was used assess risk bias included studies. Fixed-effect and random-effects models were applied calculate pooled outcome data. Results A total 17 case series, enrolling 256 patients, included. mean age 49. procedure time 137 minutes (95% CI 102-172). In terms success rates, overall technical 95.3% 92.5-97.5,I2=0%), papillary access cannulation sphincterotomy 96.1% 93.5-98.1,I2=0%), stone removal 95.9% 92.4-98.4, I2=0%). Conversion open required 4.7% 2.5-7.6,I2=0%). complications, pancreatitis occurred 2.3-8,I2=17%), cholangitis 1.7% 0.5 3.6,I2=0%), perforation 3.7% 1.8- 6.3,I2=0%). length hospital stay 3 days 2-4). Conclusions Laparoscopic-assisted seems be feasible, effective, safe method biliary tract RYGB as indicated by high rates low complication rates. There is need for comparative evidence regarding laparoscopic comparison alternative treatment options.

Laparoscopy-assisted transgastric endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in bariatric Roux-en-Y gastric bypass patients
BACKGROUND Performing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in bariatric patients who underwent Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery is challenging due to the long anatomical route required to reach the biliopancreatic limb. AIM Assessment of the feasibility and performance of laparoscopy-assisted transgastric endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. METHODS A retrospective mult...
متن کاملEndoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in patients with Roux-en-Y anatomy.
INTRODUCTION Roux-en-Y gastric bypass is increasingly performed in the United States. In addition, liver transplantation and other complex hepatobiliary surgeries are increasingly performed with creation of a Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy. Consequently, endoscopists more frequently need to carry out endoscopic procedures in patients with Roux-en-Y anatomy. MATERIALS AND METHODS The present ar...
متن کاملEvaluation of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy compared with laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass for people with morbid obesity: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Background: Prevalence of obesity in the world, in both developed and developing countries, is growing rapidly. Bariatric surgery is now accepted as the treatment for morbid obesity. Objective: This study compares laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy's effectiveness (LSG) with the most common bariatric surgery, laparoscopic Roux-en-Y (LRYGB) gastric bypass. Methods: A systematic review ...
متن کاملSuccessful endoscopic management of gastrointestinal leakages after laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery.
BACKGROUND Management of leakages of the gastrojejunal anastomosis after laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (LRYGB) can be complex. New endoscopic techniques such as covered stents and over-the-scope clips (OTCs) have been developed and are valuable alternative therapeutic options to reoperation and drainage. The aim of this study was to compare the value of stents and OTCs with surgical tre...
